Cross Spring Consecration Held in Haghartsin

A khachaghbyur was unveiled in Haghartsin through the patronage of XGroup Chairman Khachik Khachatryan.

The consecration ceremony was conducted by Archbishop Bagrat, Primate of the Diocese of Tavush.

“Khachik was one of the respected elders of our neighborhood, one of those who were older than us. As we grew up and matured, our elders played an important role in our lives. They guided us, taught us the way, sometimes reprimanded us, and sometimes celebrated our joys with us. I can say that the lessons we learned on the street were greater than any university diploma. In the same way, the disciples of Jesus lived without diplomas, yet their teachings are now studied at the world’s highest universities. It was during those years that, by God’s providence, we met our elder brother, and those feelings and memories have remained with us ever since. Through our stories, conversations, and in every sense, that neighborhood was a vibrant community where everyone shared in one another’s joys, sorrows, and successes. That is where we grew up, and our beloved Khachik played a significant role in that community. Today, here in the sacred surroundings of Haghartsin, he is here together with his family, having initiated the installation of this khachkar and now taking part in its consecration ceremony,” said Archbishop Bagrat.

The benefactor also addressed those gathered at the unveiling ceremony: “By sharing ideas and working together, we succeeded in bringing this project to life. Today, we truly realize that this was a very right, kind, and meaningful initiative. We hope that everyone will come and enjoy this place, that they will always come to the church on joyful occasions and ask God for what is good. I wish you all good health and all the best,” said benefactor Khachik Khachatryan.
