”AraksTrchnafabrika” is the only company in Armenia which is entitled to export to the Custom Unions’ countries and neighbouring Georgia. The poultryfarm is producing and processing eggs and chicken meat providing full production cycle.
Own resources and power makes it possible to carry out the entire process from growing day-old chicks to slaughter of broilers and sales. In this segment the company appears to be an absolute leader in the Armenian market.
THE HISTORY OF THE BRAND
The company has been founded in 1978 on the base of the poultry farm ”Jrarat”, which was the largest one not only in the Republic but also in the entire South Caucasus. In 2001 the poultry farm was included in the structure of X-Group International Union. This initiated the start of the production facilities and pipelinesre-equipping. In the same period the chicken meat production began under the trademark ”Araks”. Awhile, the company won the confidence of the consumers. And in 2003, at the International Poultry Exhibition in Moscow brand represented broiler chicken and a semi-finished products and was awarded Granprix and the honorary title ”Chicken King”. In august 2009 based on the demands of the market and due to the large investments and re-equipments, the poultry farm began to offer the customers products under the trademark ”Eco”. In food production it became a new criterion of quality. For the moment the company continues to expand its production volumes, increasing the range of products. The assortment of semi-finished products is enlarged, the production of sausages and smoked chickens was released.
ECOLOGY AND QUALITY
The production zone is located in the picturesque Ararat Valley. It is right here that the high quality and ecologically pure products are produced. As the General Manager of the company TsolakMazmanian says, the modern equipments, production area, the own laboratory and plant of producing fodder is the main key to success for the company. Recently the modern slaughter workshop was equipped with droplet cooling line. This allowed minimizing the water quantity in meat, increasing the microbiological safety and improving the organoleptic quality of the meat.
”Araks’ paltry farm uses fodder for chickens without hormonal supplements and growth stimulants. Highly qualified and component stuff is employed here, sanitary-hygienic conditions are performed in all areas of production.
